Slate
Slate combines film tracking, streaming availability, and personal archiving within a single experience. The challenge was to make it easier to keep track of what to watch and where to stream it, without reducing film discovery to a purely functional tool.
The approach was to build practical viewing tools within a more editorial structure. Alongside tracking titles and checking availability, it opens up discovery through directors, filmographies, watchlists, and custom lists, allowing it to function as both a tool for deciding what to watch and a personal archive.
The visual identity is built around the film clapper, reduced to two lines in the logo. Those lines expand across the system to frame stills, posters, and information, and carry into the interface as an editorial listing structure that defines Slate’s tone.
